As we dive further into the future, it is exciting to see the leaps and bounds in the development of wearable devices, digital software, and the Internet of Things (IoT). Technology has become a much-needed and convenient extension of our lives, many of which (i.e., the smartphone) have become an attachment of our bodies like an expensive limb. It's also interesting to note that every job sector has been affected by technological innovation, even the adult gadget industry.

Glenise Kinard-Moore is an information security professional by trade and a tech creative who has taken her knowledge to invest in the future of information security and cybersecurity. Kinard-Moore brings her more than six years of experience as an information security professional into the most challenging idea of her life, VDOM, an ingenious #sextech firm that focuses on human-inspired engineering and artificial intelligence.

"The VDOM is by far the most challenging idea that I have worked diligently to bring to life, but I feel like it had to be done for so many reasons," says creator Glenise Kinard-Moore. "There are so many people who experience certain physical, sexual restrictions, and ultimately there are only a very small handful of solutions that even try to address such issues."

Kinard-Moore holds an undergraduate degree from Georgia State University, where she played 4-years of Division 1 Women's Basketball, before graduating and acquiring the QSA, CISA, and ISO 27001 Lead Auditor Industry certifications in Information Security. She brings in her knowledge and tech skills to The VDOM mobile application and the manufacturing of more effective and innovative products. The product is the sex-positive, app-connected device that can go from flaccid to erect at the push of a button or via a swipe on our mobile app.

"I knew it needed to be able to be worn all day comfortably, it needed to be hands-free as much as naturally possible, and it needed to be able to go from non-erect to erect via a simple process," said Kinard-Moore.

The end-users of the app-connected adult wearable device can take control of the device using the app or give control away to a partner. There is also the ability to implement blackout times when VDOM cannot be activated. The secure connection allows users to ping notifications nearby using The VDOM mobile app when they're ready for intimacy. What's in your pants is nobody's business, but knowing that the device is comfortable enough to wear all day is amazing.

The VDOM is a product that falls within its parent company's mission to create tech-based products that alter, change, and upgrade human lives in the most positive ways imaginable. VDOM's parent company, SkiiMoo Tech, is an all things tech startup that specializes in consumer tech-based products. SkiiMoo Tech, LLC is a research, science, technology, and engineering firm born out of the Southside of Atlanta. The company was created to disrupt the status quo and break through societal barriers by leveraging "all things tech."

They are an LGBTQ+ entity, lesbian black-owned based out of Atlanta, GA. Their product, The VDOM, is here to revolutionize the sex tech industry through the evolution of research, science, and technology.

"Sex involving a traditional strap-on is very common within the LGBTQIA+ community. And though it can be fun and efficient in sexual interactions, it can also be clumsy, difficult to assemble and wear, and make it darn near impossible to enjoy sex spontaneously," said The VDOM creator.

"The VDOM™ was created to provide an anytime and anywhere app-connected wearable sex tech device that would give individuals with certain sexual restrictions a method to have an automated erection at the push of a button," Kinard-Moore continues. "No more inconvenience and awkwardness that's associated with traditional strap-ons during intimate moments with your partner. With The VDOM™, we truly wanted to counteract all the issues associated with traditional strap-ons and placed convenience, comfort, and simplicity at the forefront when developing this product."

The VDOM currently has a campaign running until August 31, 2020, to raise money to continue research and development, engineer expenses to finalize the first prototype of the VDOM™, and continue their mission to democratize sex and empower people to enjoy the best sex of their life through state-of-the-art technology.

The VDOM™ was created for excitement, convenience, and discretion. The VDOM™ is made with 100% medical grade silicone, is attached to a pair of custom-made breathable boxer briefs, and uses a Bluetooth connection and a rechargeable battery that can last for up to 24 hours. The best way to describe the VDOM according to the site— "a way towards better pleasure. It's 2020, and we are saying #DITCHTHESTRAP!"

The VDOM is set to be available to consumers in late 2020. Presales will be available beginning this summer, 2020. For more information, visit the website www.skiimootech.com and www.thevdom.com. You can also follow for updates on Instagram at @the.vdom.
