Happy Fat Trans Man

It all started from a shot.

Fat redistribution that made my belly round and plump.

Made me feel like I was living my childhood Pooh bear dreams.

Sculpted chest flattened just enough to leave natural fat growth.

A full beard that catches the crumbs my partner lovingly takes out.

Deeper voice that no longer can hit the high notes of the girly pop artists I listen to.

Stronger notice of the new musk under my armpits.

Stretch marks of my growing large body pave their way on my skin.

Thick black hair from my chest down to my toes that makes me the next stand in for wolverine.

Extra roundness of my face reminds me of my strong Cuban Grandfather.

My body can only exist as trans and as fat.

It cannot be one without the other.

To be trans is to be fat and to be fat is to be trans.

It all started from a shot.

A shot that injected the nutrients I needed to become.
