The Filmmaker Club is a series of workshops, projects, and lectures for creatives with 0-3 years of experience.
Throughout the year, Filmmaker Club participants will attend workshops, work on personal projects, and get hands-on experience working on shoots. By the end of the year, each participant will have completed at least three projects that can be added to their portfolios.
The Filmmaker’s Club will provide space for up to 10 applicants, and will take place every week beginning in June and culminating in November. Most meetings will take place virtually via Zoom; however, there will be space for special on-site shoot activities. The goal of this program is to create a space for individuals with limited experience to learn by building up their portfolio and receiving guidance from more experienced instructors.
Each cohort of Club members will also have the opportunity to participate in other film and photography-related programs, including our Headshot by Donation program, and get access to mentorship opportunities with leaders in the industry.

The Filmmaker Club is provides a space for QTBIPOC Creatives to network, build their skills, and find new job opportunities. During our 2021 Club, participants built up their portfolios (and their confidence), received advice from industry leaders, and got hands on experiences in studio and on set.
