  • Cenizo Bravo (they/them/elle) is a proud disabled, queer, nonbinary mixed Chicane originally from the Rio Grande Valley, Texas. Cenizo’s mission is to nurture spaces that amplify the voices of QTBIPOC creatives. As a former educator, grant writer, and legal practitioner, Cenizo witnessed how storytelling, whether in a classroom, grant application, or courtroom, affects social change, and how those narratives are impacted by what we see on the screen. Cenizo then decided that they are better suited to storytelling in film than the law. Since then, Cenizo has immersed themself in the entertainment world, from the film festival circuit of Outfest to the classrooms of ActNOW, an all LGBTQIA+ creative arts studio. Cenizo is jazzed to continue connecting QTBIPOC creative communities as a writer, actor, aspiring filmmaker, and a Queer 26 board member!
