2019 is the year of the creative.  2019 is the year of the queer. 2019 is the year of black and brown representation.  

In years past, creatives, fashion brands, and apparel companies drew their inspiration and ideas (and flat out stolen concepts and designs) from black and brown creatives.  With the instant access and visibility of social media, queer fashion brands and houses are no longer relegated to the shadows of commercial brands and are being pushed into the spotlight.

Hologram City is an LA-based brand consisting of Mesh originals, pastel-colored lace shorts for men, and neon colored activewear.  Hologram City, while being embraced by Hollywood celebrities such as Ciara, Miley Cyrus, and Zendaya, it is also a fav within the LGBT community; with singer Cazwell and pornstar, Francois Sagat also being fans.

Audio Helkuik is a trans-identified leather designer out of Omaha, Nebraska.  Audio Helkuik’s line of leather accessories transcends traditional gender norms and roles; with the leather harnesses and body accessories being made custom to fit.
