About Amanda:

Amanda Layne Miller is a queer comedy writer, director, producer, filmmaker, editor, and performer with a focus on the surreal and the magical. Amanda has been Staff Writer for Chinese sci-fi series DREAM HUNTERS in both Los Angeles and Beijing, Writers’ Assistant on Hulu’s WOKE S2, on a Netflix sci-fi series for WATCHMEN and BLADE scribe Stacy Osei-Kuffour, and on Apple TV+’s THE MORNING SHOW S3. Most recently, Amanda wrote, directed, and co-starred alongside her sister Amber in their short comedy film THE DAY I DIDN’T MEET ONE DIRECTION, which premiered at The Lyric Hyperion in Los Angeles. Next up, Amanda and Amber are hosting Fangirl Central, their new monthly variety show at Junior High, while Amanda continues to develop her own scripted projects and produce live comedy around LA.
