Join us for a series of Poetry Classes taught by Figgy Baby, where you can explore, express, and celebrate your identity and experiences through the power of words. Whether you're a seasoned writer or just starting out, this workshop is an opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals, tap into your creativity, and build your portfolio!

During these sessions, you'll participate in writing exercises, receive prompts and inspiration, and have the opportunity to share your work and receive feedback in a supportive and inclusive environment. This series is a space to explore, experiment, and grow as a writer.

Our facilitator, Figgy Baby, is an internationally touring, non-binary writer and rapper, based in Los Angeles. Their work highlights the fluidity and range of the human condition, redefining the limits of self-expression. Figgy offers their audience a space to experience shameless joy. Their last project, "Blood from a Stone" is a vulnerable and exciting concept album revolving around manhood and masculinity. Figgy Baby's work has been featured on BBC, BET, LA Times, Jubilee, MITÚ and NPR.
